Ruchika Seth

Director of Middle School 

Promoted as the Director of Middle School in 2021 and part of the Senior Leadership Team, Ruchika is also the Class Director of the Middle School Program at Brisbane Montessori School (BMS). She has been at BMS for over 15 years and taught in an Upper Primary class (Years 4 to 7) for 3 years before starting the Middle School program in 2012 (Years 7 to 10). 

Ruchika completed a Graduate Diploma in the Middle Years of Schooling from the University of Queensland in 2007 and joined the school that year. Her commitment and passion for Montessori pedagogy inspired her to undertake the AMI - NAMTA Orientation to Adolescent Studies (12–18-year-olds) at the Hershey Farm School in Cleveland Ohio, in 2011. 

With the help of the Principal and Board, Ruchika helped set up the Middle School program and has developed a unique enriched program with a variety of offerings that cater to the psychological needs of the adolescent. She continues to support and encourage adolescents to develop their creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they become the future citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
